Led by Matt Payne, our Concreting division is supported by an experienced in-house team across both office and site operations, with capability across project planning and site delivery. Our work includes excavation, reinforcement and formwork, structural footings and slabs, kerbs, external concrete, and civil concrete works.

Commercial concreting requires more than labour on site. It requires planning, sequencing, safety awareness, and a clear understanding of how concrete works connect with the broader construction programme. TTC approaches each project with this mindset from the beginning, ensuring scope, staging, access, traffic management, material requirements, RFIs, mix design, steel certification, and programme constraints are properly reviewed before works commence.

Our team has strong experience across large-format commercial projects, including QSR pad sites, mixed-use developments, self-storage, petrol stations, education, industrial, food and beverage, retail, and broader commercial environments. We also understand the additional discipline required when working within live operational sites, where safety, hygiene, access control, staging, and communication are critical to maintaining business continuity.

A key strength of TTC is our direct labour model. Our concreting site teams, including leading hands, are all full-time TTC employees on wages, giving us greater control over quality, safety, productivity, communication, and site accountability compared with businesses that rely heavily on external labour and subcontractors.

Our Concreting division has contributed to successful projects for leading Melbourne commercial builders and clients, with project packages typically ranging from $250k to north of $2 million. From early planning through to completion, our focus is to deliver concrete works safely, efficiently, and with the level of control required on commercial construction projects.
